Missing

I know it has been quite a while since I posted. Since my last posting I spent 11 days at the hospital with my husband who lost his battle with COPD on May 3rd. What a hard time this has and will be. We are grateful his family from Ct. was able to come to see him and spend time at the hospital with him. He never lost his sense of humor and was a real trooper til the very end. He will be greatly missed by us all.
We had nearly 38 years together and a lot of people don't get that. These are photos of some of the flowers we received and the members of my coffee group gave me the lovely bench. Hope to find a few moments to sit and reflect now and then.
Only in a small town would the funeral home fly the #24 Jeff Gordon flag at the funeral. Jimmy was a huge Gordon fan and I am sure he would have been very happy to know they did this for him.

Betty, I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I will be married 38 years in August. My husband also has COPD. I worry about him all the time.

I love it that they flew the Jeff Gordon flag. A tribute to a friend lost.
