I love to do anything dealing with crafts and flowers. Sewing, painting,
needlework and gardening and spending
time with friends and family.

I had the honor of being asked to display some of my quilting and needlework at our new library. They are going to have special quilting events coming up soon. I use the library a lot and they have great quilting books. The ladies who work there are most helpful. Hope you can stop by soon and see what is new.
Congratulations, Betty! I got to see the photo in the Warren Record today, and it's just terrific. I'm so happy to see you getting recognition for your fabulous work!
...go, girl!!!I've seen these wonderful pieces of yours "in person", and they show your great quilting talents so well... hearing lots of nice comments around the library about you and your many talents!thanks for sharing here in town, and on your blog!i'm honored to be in such company!
My grandma Betty is the best grandma I could ever ask for. I love her very dearly and she keeps me straight at times when I need it.love you Nana Betty love, Crystal.. I live in a small rural town in NC. I lost my job of 40 years in May. The pharmacy where I worked closed. The owner offered my best friend and me the building and we accepted and opened a gift shop called Friends Two. We sew, quilt, bead and have a variety of gift items and the old soda fountain. Remember vanilla cokes and fresh orangeade and lemonade? I am hoping we can make a go of it.
I love any kind of crating and enjoy gardening. I had three children, lost the oldest in 2005 to lung cancer and my husband in 2009 to COPD. My middle son lives with me and my daughter is close by.
My granddaughter lives near me also and I am lucky to have good friends to share my ups and downs.
