I love to do anything dealing with crafts and flowers. Sewing, painting,
needlework and gardening and spending
time with friends and family.

This is my version of the snowman bottle that appeared on the cover of the Nov. Dec. issue of cloth.paper.scissors magazine. I had a tip from an old cookie press to use for a hat and I put white buttons, pearls and blue beads inside the bottle. I used carpet tacks for mouth and eyes, and orange delica beads on a straight pin for the nose.Add a ribbon scarf and Ta-da.
My grandma Betty is the best grandma I could ever ask for. I love her very dearly and she keeps me straight at times when I need it.love you Nana Betty love, Crystal.. I live in a small rural town in NC. I lost my job of 40 years in May. The pharmacy where I worked closed. The owner offered my best friend and me the building and we accepted and opened a gift shop called Friends Two. We sew, quilt, bead and have a variety of gift items and the old soda fountain. Remember vanilla cokes and fresh orangeade and lemonade? I am hoping we can make a go of it.
I love any kind of crating and enjoy gardening. I had three children, lost the oldest in 2005 to lung cancer and my husband in 2009 to COPD. My middle son lives with me and my daughter is close by.
My granddaughter lives near me also and I am lucky to have good friends to share my ups and downs.
