I am working on my piece for February for the bjp. I traced my hand and cut it out of felt. Next I appliqued it to the background fabric using a blanket stitch. I left the thumb loose and an opening at the top and bottom to insert ribbon for the dangles. A friend gave me some vintage lace, the solid red hearts are from the wool dress I bought at the yard sale last summer in Pa. I felted it and shared it with my friend Phyllis. She gave me some of the beads I used on it. More to come.

Makes wonderful little hearts for Valentine's Day cards!I LOVE your BJP piece w/this hand...the white w/red blanket stitch and all its 3-D pieces are wonderful!!!
