We took new photos of my November bjp piece. Hope these show up better. My December piece is in the works. I don't quite have it all planned yet, but it's started. My BF and I have been working on quilts for our boss's grandchidlren for Christmas. This one is completed. We love the bright colors and the fish. All we have to do is add the label to the back.
It's a good idea to have a new photo of your November piece to look at. It shows off the lovely details to more advantage.
I think your December piece will be great, too. I especially like the idea of a door/gate opening up to Christmas Eve.
Since last night we also have our first snow of the year. From my sitting-room window I can see children building a snowman and throwing snowballs.
Thank you for teaching me a new word, "mums" for the flowers shown on your blog top. I only wish they would not be connected to such hurtful memories for you. My thoughts are with you.
Your mums are beautiful and a nice way to remember you son. It does make a great header for your blog. Your leaves are great - I do love the sequins. I keep forgetting to use them.
My grandma Betty is the best grandma I could ever ask for. I love her very dearly and she keeps me straight at times when I need it.love you Nana Betty love, Crystal.. I live in a small rural town in NC. I lost my job of 40 years in May. The pharmacy where I worked closed. The owner offered my best friend and me the building and we accepted and opened a gift shop called Friends Two. We sew, quilt, bead and have a variety of gift items and the old soda fountain. Remember vanilla cokes and fresh orangeade and lemonade? I am hoping we can make a go of it.
I love any kind of crating and enjoy gardening. I had three children, lost the oldest in 2005 to lung cancer and my husband in 2009 to COPD. My middle son lives with me and my daughter is close by.
My granddaughter lives near me also and I am lucky to have good friends to share my ups and downs.

The mums are lovely. I'm sorry about your son.
The new photo of November's BJP is nice because it's lighter and therefore I can see the details better. It's just charming!
Your mums are spectacular! It must feel good to look at them and remember your son. The photo is great and makes a lovely header for your blog.
