I got off to a fabulous start when I signed up for this. Three weeks ago I had an encounter with a brand new razor blade and I did a real good job of cutting my thumb, on the knuckle, so my beading days have been few this month. It is healing well and this is the beginning of my November piece. I am using Delicas and sequins, vintage buttons and lace as well as bugle beads and who knows what else I might find before I finish. It sure is good to be able to work on it again.

What a great start Betty! I love all the fall colors, the shapes of the leaves. They all look great together! I was wondering where you went to! Ouch! I hate razor cuts and you are right, the cuts to the knuckle area take FOREVER to heal! Looks like you are healed and moving right along now. Glad to see an update!
Hi Betty, great autumn colors. I love leaves!!! Can't wait to see how your "leaf people" come out in the end.
Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with sharp things? Sure hope it heals quickly so you can get back to beading and sewing. Your leaves are looking real nice. Bet you are glad you had an early start on November now aren't you?
