Museum

While in Mt Airy we decided to visit the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History. Inside you find natural history exhibits, and local history. When we got to the second floor, there was the 100 county quilt, made in 2001. A person from each county was asked to make a quilt block for their county. There was the block I  made for Warren County. I had no idea the quilt was there, as it was originally used at the opening of the women and children's addition to the hospital in Chapel Hill. What an honor to know that so many people will get to see this work of art from across the state.
