Reading and quilting

Oh how I love a good book. My sister gave me "the Christmas Quilt" by Thomas J Davis as a Christmas gift. What a wonderful story so far. It takes place in the north Georgia mountians in 1942. It so reminds me of our mother and growing up on a farm as we did. I can't wait to finish it. My best friend and I are working on a mosaic quilt using this book as a teaching guide. I am making one of our son Tony and she is going to do one of her nephew Josh.
Photos will come soon.

The mosaic quilt book looks interesting. I am going to have to look for it. I am interested to know how big the squares are. Looks like fun!
